May Was One of the Wettest Months in Manitowoc History.

May 2024 was a wet month in Manitowoc.

Generous rainfall caused wet basements, standing water in farm fields and riverbanks running at full levels. But also has lawns plush and green.

While the amount of rain didn’t shatter the record for precipitation, it did make the top 10 on the list of wettest months in Manitowoc History.

According to National Centers for Environmental Information, Manitowoc received 7.92 inches of rain in the month of May, making it the 8^th most rainfall in Manitowoc history.
