A Manitowoc man was arrested after barging into a neighboring home wearing nothing but slippers.
At 8:20 Monday morning (June 3rd), police were called after a Manitowoc resident’s rude awakening.
Police received permission to enter the home, where they found the man seated on the couch, only sporting a New York Yankees polo shirt with his neighbor’s Jeep keys in his possession.
While still in the home, he was questioned about what he was doing, to which he indicated whatever he wanted and that he did it for the heck of it.
Manitowoc Police could not get an answer on his intentions with the neighbor’s keys, but it was suspected he did not intend to steal their Jeep.
However, his attitude and reckless behavior lead the arresting officer to believe this behavior may continue.
The suspect was transported to Manitowoc County Jail where he was held on Misdemeanor counts of Lewd and Lascivious behavior, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Trespassing to a Dwelling.
