Manitowoc’s Assemblyman in Madison will run for another term.
Republican State Representative Paul Tittl has been serving his district in Madison since 2012 when he was first elected.
While he’s proud of the accomplishments he’s made so far, one area he still wants to focus on is taxes.
Tittl says a tax bill was vetoed this year by Governor Tony Evers that would have cut taxes and ended a tax for seniors. Because of the senior tax, the state is losing people.

One reason he says that people should vote for him again is because of his proven track record as a leader and his help with mental health.

We will reach out to the Manitowoc County Democrat Party to see if there is someone running for the assembly.
Tittl Reelect 1: The Manitowoc Republican says “Good people, quality people that take care of their grandchildren, help with our childcare crisis to states that don’t have taxes.
“Tennessee, Texas, Florida, South Dakota, even Illinois doesn’t tax pensions. So, we wanted to make sure we could possibly take that off the table.”
Tittl Reelect 2: “Right now there’s over 22 retirements in the assembly and also in parings,” he stated. “There’s about 15 or 20 people that are paired up with each other, so there’s a big turn over.”
Tittl Reelect 3: “I’ve been out meeting the people of Two Rivers, they’re fantastic,” he exclaimed. “Love the people of Two Rivers. That’s the biggest area of concentration. I did lose some of the rural areas, but Two Rivers is the new addition.”
