Valders golfer Dylan Bramstedt battled the elements and stiff competition to make the podium at The WIAA State Golf Tournament at The Meadows Course at Blackwolf Run in Kohler.
Coach Charlie Lemberger tells us that Monday’s round was shortened to nine holes due to rain, and Dylan began Tuesday’s round tied for 22nd place.
He persevered and shot a 3 under 33 on his first nine holes, finishing the round with a career-best 75 and a two-day total of 10 over par 118, tying him for fifth place in the Division Three field.
Other results in The Division Three field include Carson Mersberger of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah tying for second place, Elliot Leipham of Sheboygan Lutheran tying for seventh, and Karson Kowalski of Mishicot finishing tied for 18th place.
