The Manitowoc Unit of the County Fish and Game will be holding a meeting this week.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The meeting is at Lincoln Park Cabin #1.
They will begin at 7pm and are open to members and the public.
Meetings generally include a speaker and a short business meeting.
Lunch and refreshments are offered.
This meeting’s guest speaker will be Dean Halverson who is reporting on the recently completed Manitowoc County Conservation Study.
It was also noted that there is NO July meeting in celebration of the July 4th Holiday.
The unit reminds the community that memberships for the 2024 term are now available.
Membership counts have been in decline in recent years and the organization reminds the public of the importance of supporting all of the 25 conservation organizations in Manitowoc County.
Membership is important to impacting the future rules and regulations and to protect rights and resources.
Manitowoc Unit dues are still only $5 annually. Manitowoc Fish & Game works to promote and protect the rights and resources of sporting men and women in the county through a variety of projects and education programming.
It supports youth programs to get young people involved in the outdoors.
It is one of 25 clubs that work together in Manitowoc County.
