The United Way of Manitowoc County is gearing up for its annual Day of Action.
Executive Director Ashley Bender explained on her Hello Lakeshore podcast that Day of Action is an event where teams of people are brought in to complete projects at area non-profits throughout the day.
This year’s event will take place on Friday, June 21st this year.
Those looking to volunteer may reach out to United Way and give their preferences for what project they would like to work on.
The kickoff will take place at the United Way office and will include a light breakfast, volunteers will then meet their team members and be sent out, lunch will also be provided.
