Stuart M. Claflin, age 68, a resident of Two Rivers, passed away at his home while surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
Stuart was born on October 29, 1955 in Algoma to the late Mearl and Delores (Paque) Claflin. He graduated from Southern Door High School with the class of 1973. Stuart had worked as an industrial electrician for many years and had retired from the Kohler Company. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, woodworking, shooting pool, playing bean bags, golfing, watching old western movies, and the occasional beer. Above all, Stuart enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends.
Survivors include Stuart’s seven children, Nicole Jeanquart, Michael (Cassie) Claflin, Brittany (Josh) Landess, Mike Neville, Brittany Loucks, Trevor (Shelby) Loucks, and Travis Loucks; the love of his life, Penny Loucks; grandchildren: Alyssa, Mason, Madyson, Branson, Reagan, Bryce, and Ryleigh; also other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Stuart was preceded in death by his parents, Mearl and Delores Claflin; brother, Gary Claflin; and sister, Connie Parins.
A service of shared memories by Stuart’s family will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024. A reception for family and friends will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral. Cremation will follow at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, June 14, 2024 from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 5 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
