A western Wisconsin firefighter is getting some online attention after going into a well to rescue a dog.
It happened in Menomonee on Monday.
The Menomonie Fire Department shared some pictures of the firefighter who rescued Rip the dog.
Rip fell into a 30-foot-deep dry well and couldn’t get out.
A few trucks and some ropes later, firefighters were able to get Rip out and send him back to his family.
