Kathleen M. Grall, age 92 of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday morning, June 2, 2024 at Angelus Senior Living in Manitowoc.
The former Kathleen Hoffman was born on October 15, 1931 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Bredael) Hoffman. She was a 1949 graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. Kathleen was owner of Bits of Olde Antiques in Manitowoc and worked as a receptionist for Surgical Associates of Manitowoc. Her hobbies and past times were textile art and thrifting. Kathleen spent most of her life devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her nine children: Mary Virlee, Manitowoc, Thomas (Paige) Grall, Two Rivers, Leslie (Marvin) Wellner, Manitowoc, James (Jean) Grall, Manitowoc, Robert K. (Lori) Grall, Manitowoc, David (Paula) Grall, Corpus Christi, TX, Gene Grall and significant other: Barb Hoffmann, Shoto, Michael (Ann Marie) Grall, Oconomowoc, Douglas (Deana) Grall, Whitewater; 12 grandchildren: Hannah Virlee, Keagan Virlee and special friend: Katie Koch, Lindzey (Aaron) Spice, Matthew (Pilar) Grall, Nic (Heidi) Wellner, Mara (Jessica) Wellner, Branden (Jade Romaine Arneson) Grall, Aubrey (Shane) Davis, Lawrence Grall, Nathan Grall, Jenna Grall, Elijah Grall; 8 great-grandchildren: Colton, Jacoby, Anah, Quinn, Mayan, Zachary, Lucas, Mason and one great-grandchild due in October; one brother: Michael Hoffman, Sarasota, FL; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Barbara Hoffmann, Cedarburg, JoAnn Riha (Jim Ingham), Pottsboro, TX, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Irene Hoffman; one granddaughter: Allison Grall; one son-in-law: David Virlee; 2 brothers and one sister-in-law: Robert (Angeline) Hoffman, Donald Hoffmann; one sister and brother-in-law: Lois (George) Curry; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Dolores (Harry) Kupsh; father of her children: Robert J. Grall; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Lawrence and Frances Grall.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers. The Rev. David Pleier will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Church on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name would be appreciated for Roncalli High School.
