The city of Green Bay has reached a $100,000 settlement in their audio recording scandal at City Hall.
FOX 11 reports that a settlement appears to be agreed upon with Tony Theisen, one of the two remaining plaintiffs suing the city of Green Bay over the ordeal.
The lawsuit was in response to the city’s use of microphone surveillance and audio recording in City Hall’s corridors.
Theisen is a former Green Bay council member who frequented those halls.
Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu noted that he’s pleased Green Bay is doing right by Theisen but also believes there may be many more like him who have had their privacy invaded.
Currently, no settlement has been reached with the final plaintiff.
