Two people in Green Bay face charges after allegedly choking a dog and slamming its head against a vehicle.
FOX 11 reports that 22-year-old Shamarion Cook and 24-year-old Mackenzie Allen were arrested after police were called to an apartment on Ninth Street in Green Bay on Sunday.
Cook faces charges of mistreating an animal, intentional violation, and obstruction. For Allen, the charges are being a party to mistreating an animal and obstruction.
Cash bonds were set at $5,000 for Cook and $1,000 for Allen. Bond conditions order the two to have no contact with each other, the dog, or any domesticated pets.
