The superintendent in Baraboo, who was shoved at graduation, says the world is watching to see how Baraboo moves forward.
Superintendent Rainey Briggs has been getting national attention after an angry parent shoved him at Baraboo High School’s graduation two weeks ago.
Briggs says he was scared at the moment because he didn’t know if the parents would do more than just shove him.
Briggs says it’s important for Baraboo to respond because the community is in the spotlight.
The angry parents have a history with Briggs and told police he didn’t want Briggs shaking his daughter’s hand.
