There are two Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (June 18th).
The Land Information Council will convene at 10:00 a.m. in the Communications and Technology Building to discuss the 2025 through 2027 land information plan, and how to use 2025 strategic initiative grant funds.
Then, after taking the official County Board photo and holding an ice cream social, the County Board will convene in the upper level of the Heritage Center at 6:00 p.m.
They will start by recognizing the work of Treasurer Amy Kocian after her resignation.
No reason was given for her departure.
The group will hear comments from the public and several appointments will be made to various county committees.
The Board will also look over four proposed amendments to the zoning map.
