Green Bay City Hall is considering improvements to their layout and safety measures.
Fox 11 reports that City Hall is contemplating bringing in a security guard to be on the premises during business hours to up security.
Currently, anyone can enter the building and have access to all six floors.
As of right now, City Hall’s main security line is a feed of security camera footage from the Green Bay Police Department, which is not always monitored.
Additionally, they hope to move the most in-demand services they offer to the first floor.
This would limit the need for visitors to access any other floor of the building.
The proposed plan would allot $94,000 to pay Security Pro for their services and was unanimously passed by the finance committee.
Now, the final decision lies in the hands of the Green Bay City Council.
