Lakeland University and Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) have joined forces to address the nursing shortage.
Beginning this fall, students can simultaneously enroll in both schools, allowing them to earn an Associate Nursing degree from MPTC and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lakeland.
Students can now take classes at both institutions simultaneously while working in related jobs to help them explore future specializations.
The partnership comes in the wake of a Wisconsin Hospital Association report emphasizing the need to expand career pathway options to grow Wisconsin’s healthcare workforce.
