It’s not what a landscaping crew expected to find buried in the bushes of a home in West Bend, Police say the landscapers found an old, deactivated hand grenade at the house on Monday.
The crew immediately called West Bend Police, who called the Milwaukee County bomb squad.
The grenade was real, but it was deactivated, and investigators say it looks like it had been buried under the bushes for a while.
No one is saying how it got there or why someone put it there.
