Raissa J. Wagner, 44, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 due to an automobile accident.
Raissa was born July 31, 1979 to Ramona (Abbet) Wagner and Emroy Reed. She was a 1998 graduate of Lincoln High School. Raissa worked as an adult instructor for the Cerebral Palsy Center, a job which she took great pride in. Raissa’s priority was her children, whom she cherished and loved deeply. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, and especially looked forward to their annual trips. Raissa had a love for animals, particularly her faithful companion Chula.
Raissa is survived by her children: Preston (Courtney) Perez, Caleb Wagner-Calvillo, and Rene Lopez; sister: Tanya (John) Reeson; and nieces and nephews: Kailee, Daniel, Jolene, and Jordan. Raissa is preceded in death by her parents: Ramona Wagner and Emroy Reed; brother: Eric Wagner; and maternal grandma: Claribel Abbet.
A Memorial service to celebrate Raissa’s life will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 7:00 pm at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm to the time of service at 7:00 pm.
