New information has emerged about a month-old homicide in Trempealeau County.
Prosecutors released details yesterday concerning the May 15th murder in Ettrick.
According to investigators, Todd Gieck is accused of shooting and killing Kyle Dahl as Dahl was driving home from his family farm.
While the prosecution has not explicitly stated it, evidence suggests Gieck did not know Dahl and shot him without any apparent reason.
Dahl’s body was discovered in a ditch off the highway.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office had previously withheld information about the case.
Gieck reportedly told investigators he was “on edge” and disturbed by Dahl’s driving just before the shooting.
