The Manitowoc County Soil and Water Conservation Department is seeking the public’s input on the Land and Water Resource Management Plan.
The department announced on Facebook that they will be updating the management plan and needs feedback from farmers, swimmers, fishers or anyone who uses water in some way.
Resident’s feedback will directly impact planning discussions, data gathering, and initiatives aimed at protecting and improving local resources like lakes, drinking water, wildlife habitat, and farmland.
The survey should only take about five minutes and can be found on the County Soil and Water Conservation Department’s Facebook page.
The plan will be developed for the years of 2026 to 2035. You can find the current plan on the department’s website.
