Early morning Tuesday storms dropped quite a bit of rain on parts of Manitowoc County. Listeners told Seehafer News that about 1 and a fourth inches of rain fell in Francis Creek
About 2 inches of rain was collected on Rapids Rd and Menasha Avenue in Manitowoc.
On Nagle Road, southeast of Valder, they got about 2 and quarter inches of rain.
The storms also brought power outages.
Manitowoc Public Utilities Communications Director Jenny Nelson says there have been no areas in the city with power outages, but crews are working on fixing some smaller staggered outages.
The outages are caused by downed powerlines and some broken poles, so you’ll want to stay clear of crews as they work.
Two River Public Utilities also announced earlier this morning that they were working to turn the power back on in some areas of the city affected by the severe weather.
It’s not known how long it will take to fix the scattered outages.
