Evan Daniels, an Eau Claire man, is accused of stealing $100,000 from his 92-year-old grandmother while living with her.
Prosecutors say Daniels, currently jailed on drug charges, was supposed to be managing her bills.
Her accounts, which had $300,000 at the beginning of the year, now hold just $75,000.
It is unclear if Daniels spent the money on drugs.
He is due in court on Friday.
