Lester F. Bohachek, age 99, of Manitowoc passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Lester was born on July 11, 1924 in the township of Cooperstown son of the late Frank and Anna (Dufek) Bohachek. He attended local schools in the town of Cooperstown. On June 18, 1946 Lester was married to the former Colleen M. Krajnik at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek. She preceded him in death on July 11, 2021. Lester was a carpenter and formed Bohachek Builders in 1954 with his brother Charles and served as vice president, following his retirement he worked with Al Krajnik Builders Manitowoc. Lester and Colleen enjoyed camping, traveling, flower gardening, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Master Builders and St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
Survivors include relatives and friends. Lester is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Anna Bohachek; his wife: Colleen Bohachek; one brother and sister-in-law: Charles (Helen) Bohachek; one sister and brother-in-law: Rosella (Ben) Hodek; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Carol (Ray) Taicher.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street Manitowoc, Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with entombment at the Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am.
