A worker at Lincoln Hills youth prison has died following an attack on Monday.
The 49-year-old man was declared brain dead on Tuesday after being assaulted by a 16-year-old inmate.
A 25-year-old woman was also injured but is expected to recover.
Details on the motive for the attack and potential charges are not yet available.
