Felician Village hosts numerous events throughout the summer.
Felician Village’s Director of Marketing, Megan Bruckschen, spoke about the dates and what to expect on the most recent episode of Seehafer Broadcasting’s Hello Lakeshore podcast.
Three concerts will take place throughout the summer, all of which are completely free to attend.
The first will take place on Wednesday, July 10th with the Mystic Moons Polka Band taking the stage at 5:45.
A special Elvis concert will take place next on Thursday, August 5th with music starting at 6:00.
Finally, to end their Bistro Concert Series the Bobby Deryn and Sheila Marie Country Music show will go on to perform on Wednesday, August 14th at 6:00 p.m.
Aside from their events, the Felician Village has been awarded two awards, one of which being the dementia specific designated awarded by Leading Age, a nonprofit organization that the Felician Village is a part of.
They received this distinction after taking a quiz that asked them to state services provided and how they support individuals with dementia.
They went on to receive a certificate by We Care Connect as a 2024 Senior Cares Best Place to Work which came about due to results from an all employee survey, in which they scored above average in work culture, coworkers and community involvement, beating industry trends in staff happiness.
