A woman was caught trying to steal cat toys and cat food from the Manitowoc Meijer.
Officers were dispatched to the store on Rapids Road just before 9:00 Wednesday evening after an asset protection worker detained a woman who had been caught stealing.
The worker watched as the woman entered the store and loaded up a cart with roughly $64 worth of items, including cat toys and food.
The woman also placed numerous items in her purse before going into the restroom and concealed more items.
She left the restroom and paid for a bottle of soda before being detained.
The 41-year-old woman also had an open drug case, so she was charged with Retail Theft and Felony Bail Jumping.
