Some changes in leadership are coming to Sargento Foods in Plymouth.
According to Deli Market News, two executive vice presidents will be stepping down after working for the company for over 20 years.
Plus, a new chief will be appointed.
Third Generation Family Owner Mike McEvoy will retire from his position as Executive Vice President of Operations, while Kristi Jankowski will step down from her long-held position as Executive Vice President of Innovation.
McEvoy started with the company in 1997 and held several positions, including Trade Promotion Manager, Vice President of Sales, and President of the Food Ingredients Division.
Jankowski joined Sargento in 1999 and worked as the EVP of Innovation for 14 years. Her team generated $3 billion in revenue for the company.
New COO Michael Pellegrino joined Sargento in 2009 and, during his tenure, held various executive positions, including his most recent role as President and Chief Growth Officer.
Sargento Foods CEO Louie Gentine says he’s been “blessed to have the leadership and companionship of McEvoy and Jankowski, but they are also looking forward to a successful road ahead with Pelegrino at COO.”
