Manitowoc firefighters put out a house fire early this morning.
Firefighters were called to the 700 block of North 9th Street around 8 am for a two-story dwelling on fire.
Fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and contained it to the outside of the house but did have to remove siding from the house.
Everyone inside was able to get out okay and no one was injured.
The Manitowoc Fire Department didn’t say what caused the fire or how much damage it caused but did remind residents to make sure fireworks are completely out and cool before you dispose of them and be diligent about being safe to avoid injuries.
