The Wisconsin Supreme Court has decided to reinstate the use of ballot drop boxes in the critical battleground state.
This ruling overturns a previous decision made less than two years ago that had prohibited the use of most drop boxes.
The court voted 4-3 in favor of reinstatement, clarifying that the decision does not mandate municipal clerks to use the drop boxes.
Instead, the ruling acknowledges that clerks have the legal discretion to use drop boxes if they choose.
