A couple who have given back to the Manitowoc community were involved in a major car accident over the weekend.
Tina and Jason Prigge, who also host the After Further Review show on WOMT, were riding a motorcycle over the holiday weekend, when they were struck head-on by an oncoming vehicle that had had swerved into their lane.
As of the latest update, Tina is in the ICU, battling for her life, while Jason has a shattered leg and has a long road to recovery.
Amber Daugs of Grow it Forward is calling on the Manitowoc community to help give back to the couple who have given so much of themselves.
“They have been involved in so many organizations,” Amber explained. “Grow it Forward, of course; Jason served on the board of directors for the Lighthouse Recovery Community Center; he’s a member of NOAA, Tina is a member of the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra and serves as the President for MIRA, which is our international relationship organization in Manitowoc.”
While Amber was not willing to share the hospital where the Prigges are recovering, she did say, “Certainly, if there are any cards or anything that people want to share, they can be mailed to our PO Box, 562 Manitowoc Wisconsin, 54220-0562.”
