A state highway will be getting repairs starting today (July 8th).
US Highway 10 or State Highway 310 from County Trunk P just west of I-43 to Columbus Street in Two Rivers will be under construction.
The Wisconsin DOT website shows that the highway will remain open for most of the project, but there will be two-week closures of roundabouts at County Trunk R, Q, and B in September of this year.
The project includes new asphalt paving, adding gravel shoulders, replacing guardrails under the I-43 bridges, plus cleaning and minor repairs to various culvert pipes.
When the project is done, it should provide motorists with a smoother riding surface and give less wear and tear on vehicles.
The project should be done by mid-November of this year.
