The Lighthouse Recovery Community Center will be celebrating the opening of a new recovery residence.
The new Women with Children Recovery Residence will have a ribbon cutting on July 30 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the old Lighthouse drop-in center at 721 Park Street in Manitowoc.
The new family-centered recovery residence is for pregnant women and women with children.
It aims to provide essential, safe, and sober housing for mothers.
It also allows children to remain with their mothers while they receive treatment and recovery programming.
