There are two meetings on tap for today (July 8th) in the City of Manitowoc.
The Committee on Aging will start the day off at 1:30 p.m. in the Senior Center Classroom.
They will discuss some upcoming fundraisers and special events before looking over the financial report.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will meet in the Council Chambers, where they will give the public time to comment.
They will also discuss a request to install pedestrian crossing signs on Herman Road at the intersection of Kimberly Circle and another to increase the speed limit on Waldo Boulevard.
The change, if approved, would bump the speed limit up to 35 MPH between the roundabout and North 6th Street.
