Investigators have revealed that the suspect in last week’s double murder in Abbotsford, Victor Manuel Gomez Acosta, allegedly stabbed his two daughters nearly 20 times each.
Prosecutors filed formal charges this week against Gomez Acosta, who is accused of killing his daughters, then stabbing his wife and himself in the early morning hours of July 5th.
The motive behind the stabbing spree remains unclear.
Initially, Gomez Acosta told the sheriff’s office that ‘crazy guys’ were responsible for the attack.
If convicted, he faces life in prison.
