The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers continue their hot stretch as they dominated the West Michigan White Caps 7-0 last night.
The matchup at Fox Cities Stadium was scoreless through 2.5 innings, but then, Eduardo Garcia singled home a run, and Felix Valerio, with the bases loaded, juiced a pitch over the left field wall for a grand slam.
Jheremy Vargas would add to the lead with a solo shot in the 7th, and Luke Adams would end the scoring with an RBI.
Tate Kuehner earned the win on the mound, allowing just one hit through 6 innings, while Brian Fitzpatrick came on for the save, striking out four of the 9 batters he faced.
The Rattlers are 6-2 so far this month and currently sit atop the West Division standings at 53-30.
