The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has given businesses throughout the state thousands in grant dollars.
The WEDC has awarded $850,000 in the latest round of their Entrepreneurship Partner Grants to seven Wisconsin organizations, including one in Eastern Wisocnsin.
New North, a Green Bay tech company, received $60,000 to drive entrepreneurship across the state and will focus on diverse startup founders.
Also receiving a grant was The Wisconsin Indigenous Economic Development Corporation in Keshena, which will use $200,000 to assist 32 businesses with technical and financial support.
These grants were created in 2021 to assist organizations that provide financing, training, mentorship, and technical support to Wisconsin startups.
