The Wisconsin Maritime Museum has named the next executive director.
Kevin Cullen will take over after Cathy Green announced she is stepping away from the position in March.
Cullen has been the chief curator and deputy director for the last two and half years at the maritime museum having previously served at the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay for eight years.
Wisconsin Maritime Museum Board President Jeff Sabel says the board is thrilled to welcome Cullen because of his extensive experience in museum management and his enthusiastic dedication to their mission.
Cullen himself says he’s “eager to help chart a sustainable course for this esteemed cultural institution as we accomplish big projects at the Museum, dry docking USS Cobia, and renovations of the Wisconsin Maritime Heritage Center.”
He has over 17 years of experience in the Museum field.
