Accident rates are higher this year in the city of Manitowoc.
That’s according to the Manitowoc Police Department’s monthly report for June.
This year there’ve been 103 accidents reported compared to the 81 accidents reported in June of 2023.
The year-to-date total is also up this year, with 542 accidents reported so far compared to 529 at this time last year.
In 2023, there were 1,066 total accidents reported, which was down from 2022, when there were 1,182 accidents.
