Formal charges have been filed against a Greenfield woman accused of fatally striking a pedestrian at a bus stop while driving drunk.
Milwaukee prosecutors charged 24-year-old Alma Espino with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Police reported that she was driving with a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit when she crashed into the bus stop at 91st and Hampton late Thursday night.
Witnesses stated she was traveling at approximately 70 miles per hour just before the incident.
