A 53-year-old Manitowoc woman and a 42-year-old Two Rivers man are each facing multiple drug charges following a drug house bust in Manitowoc last Friday.
Sarah Jane Christensen has been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and being the Keeper of a Drug House, while Joesph Greg Rochon has been charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a schedule I or II Narcotic, namely Fentanyl, a schedule I or II narcotic in jail and felony bail jumping.
Police conducted a search warrant at a residence in the 2400 block of Washington Street in Manitowoc on July 12th.
They say Christensen appeared to be under the influence of an illegal substance, as several items of drug paraphernalia were in plain sight.
She admitted that several individuals used drugs at the residence, but no “drug deals” were allowed. Meanwhile, Rochon said that wasn’t true, telling police that Christensen was aware that someone else at the residence was selling an illegal drug.
While being taken into custody, Manitowoc County Jail staff found a baggy of drugs on Rochon.
His bail was set at $2500 cash Monday afternoon with conditions that he has “no contact” with Christensen or any known drug dealers or users, does not possess any controlled substances, and maintains “absolute sobriety.”
He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for July 22nd at 1:30.
Christensen’s bail was set at $5,000 recognizance with conditions that she has “no contact” with Rochon, does not possess any controlled substances, and maintains “absolute sobriety.”
Her initial appearance is scheduled for August 5th at 1:30.
