The Manitowoc 16U American Legion Baseball team closed out their regular season with a big win over Reedsville, 9-2.
Reedsville took an early 1-0 lead in the 1st inning, but Post 88 would bounce back and tie it in the 3rd.
Manitowoc would then explode for 8 runs in the next 2 innings before cruising to the big road win.
Josiah Martin and Nolan Lettenberger led the way at the plate, with Martin going a perfect 3 for 3, while driving in 3 runs, and Lettenberger also driving in 3 runs on his 2 hits.
Drew Holper had 2 RBI with his lone hit, which went for two bags.
On the mound, Carter Neu earned the win in his 5-hit, 5-inning, 5 strike out performance.
The 16U Manitowoc squad now gears up for the postseason, as they will be taking on Seymour in the opening game of the Regional tournament.
That game is scheduled for Friday in Seymour.
