Two people believed to be involved in a robbery in Fond du Lac were arrested in Manitowoc earlier this week.
The Fond du Lac Police Department had responded to a robbery at the 18 Hands Ale Haus on June 24th, where a worker had been thrown to the ground, and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators used tips from the public and social media posts to lead them to a 26-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both of whom reside in Manitowoc.
A search was conducted on their homes, which uncovered evidence linked to the robbery. The man was arrested on a charge of Robbery with the Use of Force, while the woman is facing the same charge with a Party to the Crime tag.
Also arrested was a 16-year-old Manitowoc teen, who was arrested on the same charge as the woman.
The City of Fond du Lac Police Department was assisted by the City of Manitowoc Police Department and the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
