The search for a suspect wanted in Madison and Eau Claire ended with the arrest of Jerome Jacobs Jr. in Gary, Indiana.
The U.S. Marshals announced yesterday that Jacobs, wanted in connection with a shooting in Madison, was captured.
Madison Police allege Jacobs fired nearly 20 shots at his children’s mother’s home in June, injuring one person in the forehead.
After being last seen in Eau Claire, Jacobs allegedly received help to evade capture.
He will be returned to Madison to face charges.
