The Manitowoc American Legion 19U squad took care of business against a visiting Fond du Lac squad, winning 7-1 in front of a home crowd.
Post 88 started the scoring right out of the gate with a run in the 1st inning, before a massive 5 run 4th inning blew the doors off.
Damien Gretz was hit by a pitch to bring home a run, Zachary Brandl walked home a run, Trent Ducat singled in a runner, and Tate Hartlaub singled in a pair of baserunners in the decisive inning.
Ducat also earned the win on the mound, allowing 3 hits and 1 run while striking out 3 batters in his 4 innings of work.
Gretz came on in relief, allowing just 2 hits in the final 3 innings.
The 19U squad, now 16-2 on the season, is off until Friday, when they travel to Sheboygan.
