A Manitowoc man was arrested yesterday (July 17th) after a disturbance at an auto parts store.
Manitowoc Police Officers were called to the Advance Auto Parts store on Calumet Avenue just before 8:00 a.m. on a report of a man threatening to kill people.
The suspect’s mother was the one who made the call, and she said the 44-year-old man was talking erratically.
By the time officers arrived, the man had walked away with a large trash bag.
He was later located a short distance away, where he was found to be in possession of a baggie containing a white crystal substance.
The man told police, “Ya, that’s mine. It’s meth.”
He was taken into custody on charges of Possession of Meth and Drug Paraphernalia and three counts of felony bail jumping.
