The Green Bay man who caused an accident that killed two people will be facing prison time.
39-year-old Philip Slezewski pleaded no contest yesterday to three charges, including vehicular homicide causing death and injury by a vehicle while using a controlled substance.
11 other charges were dismissed but read into the record.
On Christmas Day last year, Slezewski was driving on I-43 when his vehicle he was driving hit another vehicle before he crashed into a guardrail.
The crash ended up killing his two passengers, his wife 38-year-old Heather Arcaro- Slezewski and mother 71-year-old Clarice Slezewski.
The crash also caused some injuries to the driver and passenger in the other car he hit.
A sentencing hearing for Philip has been set for September 30th at 1:30.
He’s facing up to 15-20 years in prison and could have to pay more than $100,000 in fines.
His license could also be suspended for up to 7 years as well.
