Republican Lawmakers Propose Security Enhancements for Ballot Drop Boxes

Additionally, their proposal requires the presence of police officers or deputies when ballots are collected.

Krug emphasized the necessity of these security measures to build public trust in the voting process.

He aims to expedite the legislation, but it is unlikely that Governor Evers will sign it before November.
