The Two Rivers Fire Department rescued a pair of boaters early this morning (July 21st).
Firefighters were called to the area of Zlatnik Drive after a report of a boat sinking was called in.
TRPD immediately launched their boat and conducted a search and rescue for two victims on board the boat that was taking on water, according to dispatchers.
The boat was eventually found, and two people were rescued uninjured.
The Two Rivers Fire Department also received help from several agencies, including the Joint Dispatch Center, the US Coast Guard, and the Two Rivers Police.
