Nearly all of Wisconsin’s Democratic delegates are backing Kamala Harris for president.
Ben Wikler, head of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, announced yesterday that 90 percent of the state’s Democratic delegates have pledged their support to Harris for next month’s Democratic National Convention.
This includes 89 of Wisconsin’s 95 delegates, with the remaining six still undecided.
Harris received similar levels of support from other states’ delegations, with reports suggesting she has enough delegates to secure the nomination.
Wikler noted that Harris’ campaign has brought a new sense of unity and energy to Wisconsin Democrats.
However, she faces a challenge in Wisconsin, where recent polls show former President Trump leading.
