There will be a drawing for deer gun hunting permits at Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve in Brown County.
Both Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve and Fort Howard Paper Foundation Wildlife Area will be open for the nine-day gun-deer season.
However, both will be open by permit only. A random drawing is set to take place to determine who will be selected for these permits.
Registration for the drawing will begin Thursday, August 1st, and be open until the 15th.
Applicants will be able to register as an individual or as a group of no more than three but not under both categories.
