Wisconsin has been ranked first in the nation for growth in hourly earnings for three months this year.
According to the Wisconsin Workforce Development and Governor Tony Evers, the state led the country in inflation-adjusted hourly earnings growth in February, March, and May.
In May, the average hourly rate reached $33.76.
Governor Evers also noted that Wisconsin achieved record employment rates for the second consecutive month in June, with a workforce participation rate three percentage points higher than the national average.
